There are a variety of different techniques for the correction of gynaecomastia, including liposuction, excision of the skin and breast tissue, In most of cases combination of excision and liposuction will been performed. Choosing the right technique is very important and it is a decision which Elena will make with you following a detailed conversation and examination. The surgery is performed under general anaesthetic and will take around 1,5-2 hours. The procedure requires a stay in hospital overnight and sometimes drains are inserted to drain excess blood. You will wake up in a supportive garment.
The possible reasons for you to seek surgery are:

• To correct the excess of volume and skin.
