A labiaplasty is a surgical procedure to correct the shape or size of the labia minora, the flaps of skin that hang down on either side of the vaginal opening. Some women consider their labia are too large, or one may be considerably larger than the other. Sometimes excessive labial tissue can become irritated or make a woman self-conscious, affecting her confidence in intimate situations.
Elena employs the labial flap technique, using a scalpel or laser to remove the excess tissue or correct asymmetric labia, improving the shape and leaving a neat and attractive appearance. The stitches used to finish the procedure are tiny, and Elena’s surgical skill will ensure that they are as invisible as possible. Elena will use either a general or local anaesthetic, whichever is appropriate to the case, and the procedure will take between one and two hours. You may be able to go home the same day.
A labiaplasty is a straightforward and safe procedure in Elena’s skilled hands. You may be a little swollen and sore but should not experience significant post-operative issues. Before you leave the clinic, you will be given full details of the care required, and you will have follow-up appointments to check your progress. Over-the-counter painkillers will usually be sufficient to control any post-surgery discomfort.

Ms Prousskaia would normally offer you Labiaplasty Flap technique, which gives you the most natural results with very well hidden and almost invisible scars. As a female, Elena understands the importance of intimate surgery for a woman and the fact that this type of surgery should be not noticeable. The surgery is performed under general anesthetic or under local anaesthetic and sedation, in hospital and under the supervision of a Consultant Anaesthetist. The surgical time is around 1-1.5 hours. Normally it is a day case procedure, but sometimes you can stay overnight to recover better from anesthetic.
It is not particularly a painful procedure and normally Paracetamol for a few days after surgery is enough pain relief.

Labiaplasty involves surgical removal of skin excess of labia minora in order to reduce size of labia, non surgical rejuvenation procedures are mostly concentration on tightening of the vagina or other additional cosmetic treatments.
Labiaplasty can be performed safely before completion of family. Sometimes large size of labia manifests at young age and affects quality of life and confidence of young woman, in these cases this type of surgery can be performed safely after the age of 18.
The stitches are dissolvable and very tiny.
Elena does not operate on patients that regularly smoke or vape. To be considered for this procedure you must refrain from smoking or vaping for 3 months before and after your surgery.
