If you are looking to restore both your figure and also self confidence following pregnancy, then a mummy makeover in Bath with Elena Prousskaia can be a superb option.
Pregnancy and then being a mother are both wonderful periods, but that isn’t to say either is easy on the body. There is inevitable, healthy weight gain during pregnancy, then the effects of breast feeding and, amidst the pressures of being a mum, it can be impossible to fit in exercise either.
Sometimes, when a mum has the time to actually look in a mirror, they might notice a few changes. Their body might not be quite what it was; breasts might have lost shape and volume, tummy tissue may be weaker and looser.
These issues stem from the skin, muscle and fascia weakening as stretched.
All these changes are natural and far from being a concern health wise, but for some mothers they are unwelcome and there is a desire to reverse the effects. Subtle cosmetic surgery that makes changes that look completely natural, helping to return the body to its former state, can be the best option.
The exact nature of any mummy makeover will vary, Elena would discuss your specific aims during a lengthy consultation close to your Bath home. The commonality is that this is a range of surgeries and procedures combined together, for instance breast lift, liposuction and tummy tuck.
The mummy makeover procedures can typically all be carried out on the same day so there is no need for repeated surgery, this also ensures recovery time is minimised.
For the breasts, tightening might be sufficient, on other occasions implants might be required. Elena is a true expert in cosmetic surgery relating to the breast, this highlighted by her having held the renowned Fellowship in Breast Reconstructive Surgery at London’s Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital.
In the tummy region, up to 50% of abdominal skin can be removed and excess fat also removed, the tummy then leaner and also with stretch marks removed. The belly button will be reshaped and any scars from surgery hidden away below the underwear line.
It is also possible to make adjustments in the genital region, for instance excess skin that might rub or be undesirable in appearance could be removed.
Key to a superb mummy makeover experience in Bath is that initial consultation. Elena prides herself on always holding lengthy consultations, these also followed by a second consultation to give the prospective patient time to think of any extra questions and come to a truly informed decision.
At the consultation, Elena and you would work in partnership, talking through desired results, the nature of any surgery, the results achievable and also details of aftercare.
